What's NOT in Phase 1

Clear boundaries - no surprises

🛒 Procurement & Warehouse

Meter procurement, inventory management, warehouse operations, and stock tracking are not part of this scope.

Handled by: HPL's existing SAP system. MDM will integrate via APIs for meter serial number handover.

💡 NILM (Appliance Disaggregation)

AI-powered appliance-level energy breakdown (AC, refrigerator, geyser usage identification) is Phase 2 scope.

Available as: Phase 2 add-on. See NILM module details.

🤖 FluxAI Advanced Analytics

Predictive maintenance, AI-driven insights, demand forecasting, and advanced ML models are Phase 2 scope.

Available as: Phase 2 add-on. See FluxAI module details.

🏢 Billing System

Actual bill generation, tariff management, and billing calculations are DISCOM responsibility.

MDM provides: Validated consumption data via APIs. Ready-to-bill data export for DISCOM billing systems.
